WATERCOLOR SERIES: SKILL EXPANSION

This 5-session watercolor series is designed as a next step for beginners with a little experience, or for those who have taken the first watercolor series and are ready to continue building their skills. Taught by our very talented and lovely instructor, Jeanne, this series focuses on continued growth, exploration and developing a personal style in a supportive, low-pressure environment. Students will build on what they already know—exploring new techniques, gaining more control with water and color and learning how to create depth and stronger compositions. Along the way, you will work through guided exercises designed to build confidence and comfort with the watercolor process. Two of these sessions will be open studio time, giving you the opportunity to bring your own projects and work at your own pace with support and guidance. This allows time to apply new skills, ask questions and receive individualized feedback in a relaxed setting. Students will also begin a guided book painting that they can follow step-by-step, or use as inspiration to create their own composition—offering both structure and creative flexibility. With a small class size, each artist will receive a great deal of personal and group attention throughout the session. Class registration fee includes all materials and instruction. This series runs for five consecutive weeks. You are welcome to bring your own materials if you prefer. *NOTE: This class is for adults and teens 16+
