Join us on Mother's Day afternoon to get acquainted with the art of watercolor painting in this 2.5 hour intro to watercolor workshop with our very talented and lovely instructor, Jeanne. Jeanne will teach you watercolor basics and brush stroke techniques that are used to create a beautiful tulip scene in celebration of Mother's Day! You'll have time to practice these exercises before moving on to your final piece which will be painted on 8"x10" watercolor paper. Come with your mom, your best mom friends or on your own for this relaxing and creative workshop. We'll provide a frame for your art work so you'll leave this workshop with a beautiful, handmade Mother's Day gift - for yourself or someone else that you love! The techniques learned in this class will help you to build a great watercolor painting foundation. With a small class size, each artist will receive a great deal of personal and group attention throughout the session. Class registration fee includes all materials, instruction and an 8x10 frame. *NOTE: This class is for adults and teens 16+

Planning and material costs require us to collect prepayment to reserve your spot. Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the scheduled class will receive a credit on account to use towards future Whimsy services of your choosing. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled class will be non-refundable; however, if we are able to fill your spot from our waitlist, your registration fee will be placed on your account for future use.
