Service Description
Get acquainted with the art of watercolor painting in this 2.5 hour intro to watercolor workshop with our very talented and lovely instructor, Jeanne. You will learn to create a charming painting of a stack of books topped with a small vase and flower on 9"x12" watercolor paper. This project is perfect for both beginners and experienced artists, with plenty of opportunities for personal expression. Participants will choose their own color palette for the books and can customize the spines with meaningful titles. They can also leave them blank, or add decorative patterns and details for added whimsy. To keep the experience relaxed and enjoyable, the focus will be on watercolor techniques rather than drawing. Stencils and tracers will be provided for those who prefer not to draw their books. The techniques learned in this class will help you to build a great watercolor painting foundation. With a small class size, each artist will receive a great deal of personal and group attention throughout the session. Class registration fee includes all materials and instruction. *NOTE: This class is for adults and teens 16+

Cancellation Policy
Planning and material costs require us to collect prepayment to reserve your spot. Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the scheduled class will receive a credit on account to use towards future Whimsy services of your choosing. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled class will be non-refundable; however, if we are able to fill your spot from our waitlist, your registration fee will be placed on your account for future use.
