MONSTER MUG CLAY CLASS

Service Description

This festive workshop is a great class for beginner hand builders to learn basic sculpting techniques as you create a one-of-a-kind spooky, monster mug! Your mug will be thrown on the wheel before the class, so you can focus your time and attention on sculpting your spooky face during the workshop. You'll also have the option to add a handle to your mug if you choose. With a limited class size, each student will receive personalized attention and support from our lovely instructor and talented potter, Mary. After your mug is completed and dried, it will be kiln fired and ready for glaze. You can come back to our Glaze Room (any time during open hours!) to glaze your mug however you'd like using our wide selection of glazes. Then, the piece will be fired for a second time, turning into its final food and dishwasher safe form. Class registration fee includes all clay and glaze materials, tools and instruction. *NOTE: This class is for adults and teens 14 and older.
