Service Description
This beginner-friendly class is a great introduction to working with clay and learning about different hand building, slab and texture techniques. With the guidance of our lovely instructor and potter Melody from Melody B Pottery, you'll make up to 8 plant stakes during this workshop. You can choose from our variety of letters and stamps to customize each stake however you'd like. After your plant stakes are completed and dried, they will be kiln fired and ready for glaze. You can come back to our Glaze Room (any time during open hours!) to glaze your stakes however you'd like. Then, your stakes will be fired for a second time, turning them into their final waterproof, garden-ready form. Class registration fee includes all clay and glaze materials, tools and instruction. *NOTE: This class is for adults and teens 14 and older.

Cancellation Policy
Planning and material costs require us to collect prepayment to reserve your spot. Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the scheduled class will receive a credit on account to use towards future Whimsy services of your choosing. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled class will be non-refundable; however, if we are able to fill your spot from our waitlist, your registration fee will be placed on your account for future use.
