Learn to draw a stylized portrait of your pet with colored pencils and acrylic markers on canvas!
Service Description
This beginner-friendly drawing class is a great opportunity to practice illustration basics as you learn to break down your furry friend into basic shapes and colors. The lovely College of Creative Studies graduate Natalie will teach you how to sketch the form and structure of your pet using colored pencils on a 5x7 canvas panel. Then, she'll guide you through different texture and layering techniques using acrylic paint markers to add color and bring your pet portrait to life! Class registration fee includes all materials and instruction. *NOTE: This class is for kids 12+ and adults. Please bring a photo of your pet that you'd like to use as reference for the workshop.
Cancellation Policy
Planning and material costs require us to collect prepayment to reserve your spot. Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the scheduled class will receive a credit on account to use towards future Whimsy services of your choosing. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled class will be non-refundable; however, if we are able to fill your spot from our waitlist, your registration fee will be placed on your account for future use.
