Service Description
This self-pay homeschool intro to art series is designed for students from 5th to 8th grade. Students will learn a variety of foundational clay hand building skills and techniques over this 6-class series that meets every other week on Wednesdays from 12p-2p beginning in late January. Students will complete a variety of clay art projects that introduce them to working with and shaping their clay, pinch pot techniques, scoring, coiling, incorporating texture, and more. Students will complete a new clay project each class, and will also glaze prior projects throughout the course. Series registration fee includes 6 classes, up to 6 additional glaze room visits to glaze kiln-fired pieces, all clay and glaze materials, tools, bisque and glaze kiln firings for completed pottery and instruction. NOTE: *This series is for students from 5th to 8th grade. **This series requires a minimum of 4 students. If there are less than 4 students registered for the course, the series will either be combined with the ELEMENTARY series OR it will be canceled and your registration fee will be refunded.

Cancellation Policy
Planning and material costs require us to collect prepayment to reserve your spot. Cancellations made more than 1 week before the first scheduled class will receive a credit on account to use towards future Whimsy services of your choosing. Cancellations made within 1 week of the first scheduled class will be non-refundable; however, if we are able to fill your spot from our waitlist, your registration fee will be placed on your account for future use.
